Flake epoxy floors
The hardest working floor you will own
A flake floor is a coating with colored vinyl chips set into it, then sealed under a clear topcoat. Up close it looks like the picture here: a blend of grays, black and white that breaks up the surface.
That mix is the point. Dust, tire marks and the odd scuff disappear into the pattern, and the texture gives you grip underfoot. It is the floor most of our customers pick for the garage, and it is just as tough in a gym or a store.

Why does a flake floor hide so much?
Because it is never one flat color. A floor in one solid shade shows every speck of dust. A flake blend hides it, the way a speckled countertop does, and the light texture gives you grip. That is why it is the easy choice for so much of the work our epoxy flooring contractor does.
Is a flake floor slippery?
Less than a smooth floor. The chips leave a light texture in the surface, which adds grip for shoes and tires. That same grip is why we use flake on pool decks, where feet are wet.
Tired of a gray, stained garage?
A flake floor hides the dust, adds grip and takes daily use for years.
Call (954) 508-6065What colors can I choose?
Flake comes in many blends, from light grays to darker mixes with black and blue. We bring options to your estimate so you choose from real samples, not a screen. If you want more shine than speckle, compare it with a poured metallic floor.
Can flake go in a business?
Yes. The store aisle pictured here is a flake floor. It takes carts and foot traffic all day and still cleans up with a mop. Shops, gyms and showrooms get our 20 year industrial systems, covered on our commercial floors page.
Straight answers
Your epoxy floor questions, answered
How long does a flake floor take?
Most garage flake floors are finished in one day. Larger floors and commercial spaces can take longer, and you get the timing for your space along with your free estimate.
How do I clean a flake floor?
Sweep it and mop it. The surface is sealed, so dirt, sand and spills stay on top and wipe away, and the flake pattern hides dust between cleanings.
Does a flake floor need maintenance?
Next to none. Our flake floors are built to be zero maintenance. Keep the floor swept and mopped and it keeps looking the same for years.
Can I pick the flake colors?
Yes. Flake comes in many blends, from light grays to darker mixes with black and blue. We bring real samples to your estimate so you can see them in your own light.
Is there a warranty on a flake floor?
Yes. Our floor coatings are backed by a 20 year warranty, and our flake systems use commercial grade materials built for garages and busy commercial spaces.
Where do you install flake floors?
We install flake floors across Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Oakland Park, Coral Springs, Deerfield Beach, Boca Raton and Delray Beach, in garages, homes, pool decks and businesses.
