Epoxy flooring
One sealed floor, built to last
Epoxy is a two part coating. Once it is mixed and spread over properly prepped concrete it cures into a hard, seamless layer that holds onto the slab. That is why it outlasts garage paint, which only sits on the surface.
Diamond Epoxy is Mark Costello's company, and Mark is on site for most of the jobs himself. Garages, homes, gyms, showrooms and pool decks all get the same care with the prep and the same commercial grade materials.

Why does epoxy last longer than garage paint?
Paint dries on top of the concrete and peels the first time a hot tire sits on it. A real epoxy system goes over concrete that has been prepped properly, so it bonds to the slab instead of resting on it. The result is a floor that holds up to cars, tools and daily traffic for years. It is the base of every job our epoxy floor company in Fort Lauderdale takes on.
Which epoxy finish should I pick?
Most people choose between two looks. Flake is color chips set into the coating for a speckled floor with grip that hides dust. Metallic is a poured finish with swirls and depth in any color you like, from soft white marble to black and silver like the garage pictured here. Take a look at the metallic floors we pour before you decide.

Call (954) 508-6065How long does an epoxy floor take?
Most garage floors are finished in one day. Larger floors and metallic finishes can take longer, and you get the plan for your space with your free estimate. Our one day garage floors are the most common job we do, and they are built to be back in use fast.
Does epoxy work for a business?
Yes. Gyms, showrooms, retail stores and work spaces take far more traffic than a home garage, so they get our 20 year industrial systems. The floor is seamless, so there are no grout lines for dirt to sit in and cleaning stays simple. See our floors for businesses.

Your epoxy floor questions, answered
How long does an epoxy floor last?
A properly installed epoxy floor lasts for many years. Our floor coatings are backed by a 20 year warranty, and our commercial floors are 20 year industrial systems built for heavy daily use.
Can you coat a floor that has old paint on it?
Usually yes. The old coating has to come off during prep so the new system bonds to the concrete underneath. We look at the floor during your free estimate and tell you exactly what it needs.
How do I clean an epoxy floor?
Use a broom or a dust mop, then a wet mop when it needs it. The surface is sealed, so oil and spills sit on top instead of soaking into the concrete, and they wipe away.
Is an epoxy floor slippery?
Flake floors have texture built in for grip, which is why they are popular for garages and pool decks. Tell us where the floor is going and we will recommend the right finish for that space.
What colors can I choose?
Flake comes in many color blends, and metallic floors can be poured in almost any color and style. We bring samples to your estimate and help you pick a look that suits the space.
Where do you install epoxy floors?
We install epoxy floors across Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Oakland Park, Coral Springs, Deerfield Beach, Boca Raton and Delray Beach, and in nearby parts of Broward and Palm Beach County. If you are not sure we cover your street, send the form and ask.
